This is a blog devoted to our mother/wife/friend, Joyce Birkeland. We are incredibly fortunate to have a large group of supporting family and friends that would like to stay up-to-date on Joyce's battle with cancer, and this seemed like a good way to communicate. ReplyDeletei had the honor of knowing joyce for a period of time. iam not sure how long it actually is but i saw her once a week for a couple of years. i had the pleasure of being her hair dresser. the last time i had talked to her was when she called and asked me about a hair product that she needed. her hair had grown back very curly and needed help to make some sence of it. we played phone tag so iam sad and shocked to her the news of her passing. she will be missed on this earth.
