This is a blog devoted to our mother/wife/friend, Joyce Birkeland. We are incredibly fortunate to have a large group of supporting family and friends that would like to stay up-to-date on Joyce's battle with cancer, and this seemed like a good way to communicate. We are at a loss of words. We are so saddened by this dreadful disease that is taking over Joyce. It is so hard to believe. We had so much fun together in March. Please give everyone and especially Joyce a hug from us. We are praying for all of you.
