This is a blog devoted to our mother/wife/friend, Joyce Birkeland. We are incredibly fortunate to have a large group of supporting family and friends that would like to stay up-to-date on Joyce's battle with cancer, and this seemed like a good way to communicate. Thank you for following and helping Joyce fight the fight.
To you all. I am sorry to be out of town for the services but am with you in spirit and love. Your mom was a wonderful talented woman and I will miss her. I will always have wonderful memories of our times together and will think of her fondly every year as I put the angel she made on top of the Christmas tree. Best wishes to you all in this time of grieving and re'joyce'ing. Colleen

ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry we cannot be there for you and your family. We are in Canada on the boat as we usually are this time of year. I will always treasure the love you and Joyce gave me when I was alone and my children were small. Your home was a haven of warmth and caring for me.
